New Guitar Warmup Every Day Starting March 1st

I've set myself the goal of uploading a new guitar warmup every day, starting March 1, 2016.  I'm always trying to come up with warmups for my guitar students to both get to know their fretboard better, and also to improve their reading and knowledge of scales and intervals.  Non-guitarists are of course welcome to do these too (I've heard from a flute playing friend that he really liked the 5ths over the Cycle of 5ths one).  Hope you like them!

These exercises look challenging. What ! Read music on the guitar ?- OK I really should ! I am a beginner jazz enthusiast. I began playing 2 yrs ago as a retirement project. I really enjoyed your show with Elizabeth in Kamloops last week. It was pretty funny when the drunk guy insisted on stopping the show to buy a CD and a road bike guy beside me jumped up and sold him one to keep him happy, good thinking. I am the guy with the grey beard and straw hat that purchased some CDs at the end of the show. I am really enjoying those too ! So much spaciousness and clarity and freedom, and a great mix of funky and more challenging jazz - wow. Thanks so much for your openness and the wonderful web site.

Hi John Finally back home and catching up on emails and such. Thanks for the comments - yeah, sorry I've posted the exercises as things that need to be read (but some of them are conceptual so the reading is just the example and then you go off and work on it without reading it). We had a really nice tour and glad you like the CDs!
